London Travel Guide (with Offline Maps) - mTrip App Reviews

I LOVE the new features from the latest update. Being able to add my own pictures, add notes for each place and being able to check off where Ive visited were the only things that the app was missing, and now it has them all! I am so excited that this update came just one week before my trip to London. This app has been perfect for helping me plan out our entire time in London. It really helped me to figure out how to make the most of our short time there by being able to schedule/plan places to see in an efficient manner using the map feature. Im really looking forward to using it while Im there next week. So glad I got this app, definitely worth every cent! P.S. I also got the Paris and Rome versions and love them just as much.

I bought this app. It crashed when I started the app. Do not buy.

Pros: nice off-line navigation by foot or underground to any selected point of interest; nice to read reviews of other travelers Cons: limited search possibilities - cannot search across categories; subway routes seem outdated as travel advice did not take overground line into account; although itineraries are suggested, it does not have top-10 or simular for each category - let alone advice for things to see with children

Just finished 7 days in London and this was invaluable. It occasionally suggested rather more complex (although direct) routes and the guide doesnt have all of the more odd beat places we went so had to add them. The one thing I would love would be a better address search. I sometimes had to resort to my printed guide to load it into the app. Or it would "find" an address Ina completely different part of town than it should have. That being said, I also have the Istanbul version and thus far its also proving a valuable aid.

App is too small for the ipad. Refrain from buying this app if only used on an ipad as the app is only meant for iphone screens.

I downloaded about 5 travel apps and this was the best. Works great offline too. One small bug, update quits if you let iPhone screen sleep. Other than that, great.

This is an amazing app!

It was a little confusing to use at first, but once I got the hang of it, this app was quite helpful. The only drawbacks I had was a limited database for food and drinks. Otherwise, it worked fine and was very good on preserving battery. Just "practice" the app a little before you arrive at your destination.

Definitely the best app to have to get around in any city where you dont have wifi or data. Even though it is expensive it saves time and money you waste trying to find your way.

The overall app is very attractive. The graphics are pleasing. The homepages content makes planning your trip easy. I can get information quickly. It is a leading edge design well-suited to first-time and repeat users. Impressive colors, graphics, photos, etc. I enjoy using the mtrip guides and would highly recommend the app to a friend or colleague.

Its the only one you need.

I spent so much money trying other travel itinerary apps before stumbling upon this one. Bottom line: this one will replace almost all the others. They dont come close to the functionality, thoroughness and thoughtfulness of this amazing app. Ive never enjoyed planning a trip more! The ability to choose my activities and see them mapped out is going to help me travel more efficiently--which is important as Ill be traveling with 24 college students in tow!
